I’m pretty proud of myself, pretty sure I won daughter of the year!
I made my Mum a Sleep Token Mother’s Day card and she doesn’t even know it! I cut out the design with a cricut then I printed out the new Even in Arcadia album cover flowers and glued that behind the cut out text.
I forgot to connect the inner blobs of the letters before cutting it so it looks a lil wonk but I’ll just glue them to the paper so you won’t be able to tell the difference. And because I like to clean as I go I scraped all the negatives off the mat.

Happy days right? Wrong. Remember those lil blobs I need to keep to glue to the card. Yeah, they’re in that obliterated pile I just scraped off. So because I like puzzles and doing things the hard way I had to work out which blobs fit which letters.

I glued them all back on and trimmed the Arcadian paper to the size of the card.
There was a small stain on the paper, most likely a lil coffee sploosh. I dipped a cottonbud in bleach and lightly dabbed at it then left it to dry and that did the trick. There were a few stains on the back so I blobbed them too.

Before I glued some of the cut out flowers to the card for a bit of extra detail and I decided to colour the tips of the flowers (Arcadian) pink. Because it’s an odd sized card I made a little envelope for it.

All that was left was the flowers and chockies and I bought a crapton of her favourite sweet and savoury pastries to share with me for breakfast and have the leftovers for dinner so that she didn’t have to cook.
And the music swells as I wave regally to the crowd. The spotlight following me, glinting off my tiara, as I step forward to magnanimously collect my daughter of the year award 😁 Hope you had a nice day whatever you did.
Worship! 🖤
