Have you been waiting long? Apologies for the lack of posts lately, the flu knocked me tf out for the last couple of weeks so I’m just getting back to things. I did actually do a bit of work on the builds in my febrile delirium so there’s been quite a lot of progress. As I’m so far behind in updating the blog with each build I thought I’d do one giant post with a lil sneak peek of all the progress on all three to tide you over til I can update them all.

As you can see they’ve got their heads back on 😁
Look at this handsome pinstriped guitar menace! He’s so damn handsome in his suit and as he’s got a bit of a bobblehead you can just see that he’s chock full of that iv attitude I love so much. (click to enlarge)

iii caused me the most trouble with his build because of course he did. Behold the chaos ballerina in spacebuns mode! (click to enlarge)

And of course, ii and his glorious dreadlocks! His drum kit is still under construction although he kindly posted his setup on Instagram for me yesterday so that I can map it all out and make sure I have enough 3D components printed so that my kit is somewhat accurate. So thoughtful ❤ (click to enlarge)

I’ve also made some little stands out of MDF, painted black with some electrical tape. It’s totally not the right application for it as it’s starting to peel away due to the low tack but that’s all I had on hand and I just had to see it all together because I’m impatient like that. I’m going to go all out and actually get white grip tape from Bunnings this week. With the way that my brain has tortured me with the details on their builds, why would the stands be any different??
For example – ii’s crossed scythe necklace… My brain would not let me not make it and it took about 6 different tries and mediums to get something barely tolerable. I’m going to do a few retrospective posts with the further detail on how I actually made them because they are minuscule! (5mm I think) In the meantime I think that the experience of the different experiments and results can be summed up by this image of a scythe prototype accidentally superglued to my finger….

There’s still a few last little tweaks and paint touch ups and nitpicking that I want to do before I give you a shiny flashing grand reveal post for each build (probably next weekend!). I’ll go over all the details, um, in detail… I’m happy with how they’ve turned out but I do have a list of things that I’ll be doing differently in the next builds. I’ve had to learn so many new techniques and used new materials so it’s been educational as well as fun.
Not sure who to do next so I’m open to suggestions in the comments below!
Worship! 🖤
